Position Summary: As a Southern Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Technical Sales Representatives responsible for showcasing and selling our premium SUN®, John Bean® & Hofmann® garage equipment. Your role will involve ensuring the team's effectiveness in the field, driving improvements for customer and business satisfaction, and cultivating strong customer relationships to meet quarterly and annual sales targets for growth.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
- Manage the Southern Sales team, overseeing the demonstration and sale of SUN®, John Bean® & Hofmann® garage equipment
- Continuously monitor and improve the team's field effectiveness to ensure business and customer satisfaction
- Oversee the commissioning of delivered goods and ensure necessary training is delivered
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships to achieve sales goals
- Meet with associates and senior management to deliver business reviews/updates, and sales strategy including providing reports
- Responsible for driving team performance, including setting team and individual KPIs to ensure the business achieves growth and individuals succeed
- Build relationships with departments within Snap-on® and third parties
- Attend franchisee monthly meetings to support engagement in garage equipment promotions
- Attend exhibitions, and networking events to improve relationships and sales, whilst representing the Snap-on® brand
- Work in line with quality accreditations, and E, H & S system requirements
Work Environment: This role involves a standalone work environment, visiting team members, customers and the Diagnostics Head Office, based in Kings Lynn.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Good I.T. Skills
- Full driving licence as travel is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sales commercial acumen
