We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Coordinator to be responsible for coordinating H&S and Quality and Environment administration for both internal and field-based Snap-on operations.
As the QHSE Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and developing a culture of continuous improvement, driving a high level of engagement which provides a safety-first culture, whilst understanding the commercial needs of the business. You will ensure safe working practices and operational excellence become an everyday standard in-line with guidelines and objectives for our two main sites.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate and where needed, undertake individual risk assessments for roles, materials and machinery ensuring follow-up and periodic review as required
• Provide advice to the HR Manager related to all business-critical safety compliance obligations with commercial solutions as required
• Coordinate monthly H&S meetings
• Coordinate and where needed, run training on manual handling and periodic H&S training as required
• Coordinate and maintain SEQ records, reviewing and updating W.I.’s and procedures as required
• Coordinate ISO Audit requirements with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate contractor visits and manage and maintain all Risk Assessment and Method Statements, ensuring that we keep all contractor details updated
• Undertaking any other duties that may be required to ensure the smooth running of the business/function
We are looking for someone who:
• Possess formal NEBOSH qualification required (NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum)
• With knowledge of ISO audit requirements within a logistics or operational environment
• Have H&S experience gained in a logistics or operational environment (must have)
• Possess ’A’ level education (or a minimum or three years’ experience) in safety, quality, and facilities management
• Excellent IT skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint packages)
