We require a professional, dedicated and team-orientated individual to join our team as a Diagnostic Sales Representative (DSR).

As a Diagnostic Sales Rep, you will be responsible for driving sales for the full range of Snap-on diagnostic equipment across our South East and Central regions.

By working closely with the Franchisees, you will coach them on how to plan and generate customer leads. As the Diagnostic Sales Rep, you will educate franchisees and customers on the capabilities of the diagnostic range with a view to maximising sales on behalf of the Snap-on franchise network. You will engage with the franchisee’s respective Sales Developers in advance of the business contact ensuring all the necessary pre-work has been completed in order to make the contact successful.

As the Diagnostic Sales Rep, you will join Franchisees on customer calls, presenting the full range of Snap-on Diagnostic equipment via your company display vehicle, or by riding on the Franchisee’s truck. This contact will take place over typically one or two days with a view to demonstrating and securing sales for Snap-on diagnostic products. In addition, you will attend sales meetings where necessary and coach Sales Developers to increase their understanding of the Snap-on range of diagnostic products.

As the Diagnostic Sales Rep, you will be responsible for updating your knowledge of automotive and diagnostic technology and they will also be responsible for the completion of any other reasonable duties that drive the success of the business.

This challenging role will suit someone with previous experience in a sales role. You will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, a positive and professional sales approach and proven ability to self-manage. Experience within the automotive industry would be also advantageous.

As the role requires the Diagnostic Sales Rep to work in a large geographical region, overnight stays away from home will be expected, in addition to some weekend working. The candidate must hold a Full UK Driving License.
