Snap-on is world renowned brand and has been operating for over 102 years. We have been in the UK since 1965 and we are excited to advertise this fantastic opportunity for an Assistant General Manager to join Snap-on Finance division.

This role reports directly to the General Manager of Snap-on Finance UK Limited and is responsible for overseeing the Portfolio Management and Operations Teams.

Within Portfolio Management they will be responsible for the management of multiple loan portfolios. Their primary aim is to achieve corporate, regional, national, and individual performance standards relating to delinquency, loss and recoveries.

This area of the business is also largely responsible for driven sales growth to maintain and grow portfolio balance and customer count.

The operations team are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the finance operation. The Assistant General Manager has oversite of all Snap-on Finance purchasing functions, payment application, GL analyses/balancing and documentation control.

The Assistant General Manager will be expected to have general knowledge of the other operations within Snap-on Finance to provide cover and support for the General Manager as required.

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for working directly with the General Manager and Compliance Manager to ensure that all processes within their scope of responsibility are completed with regulatory compliance in mind. They will be responsible for the creation, adaptation and implementation of regulatory changes as required.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

• Willingness to study for Masters Level education, preferably MBA.

• 3+ years of supervisory related experience.

• Excellent computer skills and knowledge including Microsoft Office.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Outgoing, positive attitudes and strong interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrate strong ability to work independently.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
