As a Customer & Sales Support Advisor, you will be providing sales support and service to Industrial customers and Field Sales staff ensuring business processes and procedures are adhered to. This will involve answering telephone calls providing fast and efficient information from various company systems, monitoring incoming emails and processing quotes and orders as required.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Answering and returning telephone calls and emails in accordance with company procedures

• Processing purchase orders from UK customers through the various in-house computer systems and customer portals

• Processing sales orders to internal Field Sales staff

• Processing quotations, service orders, inter-company transactions and customer returns

• Resolving customer shipping issues and complaints in accordance with company procedures

• Chasing of backorders

• Allocation of stock to managed sales orders

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a busy Customer Service environment

• Has a proactive mindset, able to route cause scenarios and propose improvement opportunities

• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, calm approach

• Is an excellent communicator, both written and oral

• Is competent in IT (Email, Word, Excel)

• Has the ability to prioritise work, cope with competing deadlines and use initiative in a variety of situations

• Has an organised and methodical approach to administrative duties.

• Is accurate and pays attention to detail
