European Torque Specialist

At Snap-on Industrial we are currently looking to recruit an European Torque Specialist to provide the necessary technical support to our key customers and sales team across Europe.

Reporting directly to the Director of Europe & UK Industrial Sales & Operations the main purpose of the European Torque Specialist will be to ensure Snap-on Connected Torque systems are correctly specified, set-up, installed, used and maintained, while at the same time developing opportunities to further our Connected Torque business.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing specific sales projects in order to create profitable sales growth

• Supporting with the review and completion of major new business tender bids

• Supporting the sales team to achieve set targets and objectives for Snap-on Torque Program products

• Performing all Connected Torque troubleshooting, creating a knowledgebase of FAQs and Solutions

• Working with the Sales team and Internal staff to provide Torque Control Program and Product awareness Training and Development

• Creating and taking ownership of the Torque Control Training agenda, content and curriculum

• Attending Exhibitions as requested

We are looking for someone who:

• Possess strong organizational skills, is a team player and is eager to face new challenges with enthusiasm, commitment and an open mind

• Is capable of working to deadlines, whilst remaining level-headed under pressure

• Is self-motivated and have strong commercial, analytical and problem solving skills

• Has a strong understanding of industrial markets and customers with an appreciation / interest in engineering

• Has minimum of 3-years experience in a similar technical role, a Bachelors Degree or Equivalent experience and a Track Record of successful project outcomes

• Possess broad knowledge of IT programs / MS Office

• Project Management Skills are a must

• Previous experience with Industrial Electric Torque Tools; integrating new technology and an understanding of networking and connected tools will be advantages
