At Snap-on we are looking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Administrator to join our Inventory Management team.
The main purpose of the role is to provide key administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Supply Chain department. This role focuses on assisting the wider supply chain team with various administrative duties.
The main duties of the Supply Chain Administrator include, but are not limited to:
• Order & Inventory Management:
Review purchase order acknowledgements from suppliers and raise and resolve any discrepancies
Manage planned orders for the Repair Centre
Close production orders, identify, and investigate issues
Process inventory adjustments from RFN to LN
Manage inventory report group
Maintain Special Demand/Forecast in LN based on stock received reports
Raise RNR warehousing transfers
• Logistics & Data Management:
Regularly maintain commodity codes to prevent shipment clearance delays
Ensure shipping documents are accurate and available on time
Maintain in-transit data for LP suppliers and manage the ASN database for warehousing transfers
• Communication & Collaboration:
Provide clear and effective communication across all levels of the business
Maintain professional relationships with suppliers, representing the company positively
Support all Supply Chain department functions as needed
• Item Master and Pricing Management:
Support the annual cost rolling process
Oversee daily synchronisation of Co:130-387 and 387-303-244
Maintain Limited Marketing/Returnable flag requests
• Performance & KPI Support:
Assist in achieving company objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a strong administrative skills
• Possess high level of data literacy with strong numerical reasoning
• With proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Is flexible and with adaptable approach
• Possess good commercial acumen with customer service experience
• Has a strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing overseas suppliers and commercial processes (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of export/import documentation (preferred but not essential)
