An exciting opportunity has arisen at Snap-on for a friendly, team oriented 1st Line Support Technician to join our fantastic IT team. This role is ideal for someone who has a keen interest (and understanding of) IT and is looking to progress their career in this field.

As the 1st Line Support Technician, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining end user’s IT systems, hardware and software accounts.

Day-to-day you will be supporting franchisees and employees in all IT related incidents, servicing their requests via email, telephone or in person. You will take ownership of 1st line incidents, and escalate to 2nd or 3rd line support where necessary.

As the 1st Line Support Technician, you will hold strong GCSE’s in Maths and English, as well as an IT qualification and have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working in an IT helpdesk function. In addition, you will be an analytical problem solver, with a proven ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
